UPDATE 1-27-2026: Once again, we couldn’t be happier with the work done on the 1944 Ford GPW. We left it in the tender care of D&C Classic Garage again on December 29 for a variety of repairs and changes, including lighting, wiring, moving the driver’s seat back to create more legroom, and more. They had to search far and wide for some of the parts (not really – Mike knows a guy on the East coast

In October, my husband and I visited D&C Classic Garage to see if they could do some work on my husband’s new toy 1944 Ford GPW (WWII Army jeep). We were officially greeted by the shop dog, then owner Mike kindly gave us a tour of the garage while he and my husband talked about the jeep. Mike believed he could accommodate all the repairs and cosmetic work my husband wanted but said he was booked out until December. This was disappointing to my husband who had wanted to take the jeep to the Veterans Day parade. Mike offered to check his calendar to see if he could squeeze in the jeep long enough to get it running and street legal. He said he could pick up the jeep from our house on Nov 10 with the understanding that he was going to have to work on it between other jobs already scheduled for that day. We agreed. On Nov 10, a little before 5pm, he called to say he could drop off the jeep at around 5:30. When he arrived, my husband was very happy to learn that Mike and his team were able to make the jeep start when asked and that the taillight and brake light were now working as well – he would be able to drive it to the parade the next day! Needless to say, we will be scheduling a longer visit with Mike and D&C Classic Garage to have the rest of the things my husband wants done to the jeep accomplished. If you have a car you love, we can highly recommend D&C Classic Garage – save your time and go to them first.

Honesty, integrity, craftsmanship & top notch work! These guys have it all! The entire crew is friendly, knowledgable, and top shelf! I had, and continue to have an amazing experience with D & C Classic Garage. Mike is outstanding with communication, experience, knowledge, and understanding. I was told up front that they are a high end shop because of the work they do. I appreciate that honesty, and I am highly satisfied with the quality of work and commitment to make everything right. Shawn has an impeccable skill, he is truly an artist with body and paint. The transformation was surreal and absolutely beautiful. John was skilled and patient with the final details. They did an amazing job in helping to turn my family memory into a reality and now they are a part of my Mustang history. To say they are the best is an understatement. I highly recommend!!!!

They have Masters at their profession working there. The place is immaculate and all work is done there. Could not recommend more!!!

Love the guys at D & C. I do a lot of shade tree wrenching, but whatever I can't do myself they are always willing to provide the expertise I lack.
